Chemical Exhaust Gas Cooler Finned Tube Heat Exchanger


The finned tube heat exchanger in the chemical exhaust gas cooler is a kind of important equipment specially used for treating chemical exhaust gas and realising the cooling function.


Finned tube heat exchanger is mainly composed of finned tube and shell. Finned tube is on the basis of ordinary heat exchanger tube, through the addition of fins to increase the heat exchange area, thereby improving the efficiency of heat transfer. The fins are usually made of metal materials, such as aluminium and copper, which have good thermal conductivity.

When working, the chemical exhaust gas enters from one end of the heat exchanger and flows through the finned tube. At the same time, the cooling medium (e.g. water, air, etc.) enters the heat exchanger from the other end and flows outside the finned tube. Through the wall of the finned tube, the heat in the chemical exhaust gas is transferred to the cooling medium, which lowers the temperature of the exhaust gas, thus realising the purpose of cooling.

Highly efficient heat exchange

For example, in the production process of ammonia, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc., finned tube heat exchanger can effectively cool the exhaust gas and reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas to provide favourable conditions for subsequent purification and treatment.

Pharmaceutical industry in the production process will also produce a variety of chemical exhaust, such as organic solvent vapour, acidic gases and so on.
